By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids.

The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, part of Optimist International, is a 100% volunteer Community Service organization. The Club conducts positive service projects in local communities aimed at providing a helping hand to youth including special programs and scholarships. We also organize and run the Vienna Farmers Market, Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser, and provide tours to our local Caboose. With their upbeat attitude, Optimist Club members help empower young people to be the best that they can be. Every year, Optimists around the world conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people.

- Farmers Market 2025 Call for Vendors

Calling all food and local producer vendors! It's that time of year to apply for the 2025 Vienna Farmers Market! The Farmers Market is a producer only market (no crafts) and runs from May until October every year. Deadline to sign up is February 28th! Besides the food, one of the wonderful things about the market is the music. Whether it's your roadies playing your favorite songs over the speakers or one of our fantastic bands, you'll have something to dance to while shopping and eating great food. Happy New Year from the Optimist Club of Greater Vienna! What a productive year we had in 2024. Our most visited Farmer's Market and our biggest Christmas Tree sale! We have a lot more coming this year.

Our first Caboose tour will be in March.
The Farmer's Market will reopen in May.
Open House Socials will take place throughout the year for anyone interested in finding out more about the club and joining! Make sure to keep a look out on this site for upcoming dates!
We will also have scholarship opportunities and awards.
