The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna is a group of community minded volunteers dedicated to helping youth in the Greater Vienna area.  We provide scholarships, recognition, sponsorship of various youth groups, and so much more.  We meet once or more each month for social meetings and youth presentations. 

Funds are raised by volunteering at our Christmas Tree Lot (December) and the Farmers Market (May through October).  It's fulfilling to see the smile on the face of these children and teenagers when they deliver a speech, receive a scholarship or certificate, or are presented with a ribbon for their completion of a race with Special Olympics.
